JANET DENHAMER, CA CFP
Ms. Denhamer has 15 years of tax planning and financial management experience in the energy sector and has extensive experience advising high net worth executives. Ms. Denhamer, past Vice President and CFO for Robert G Peters, former Chair of Peters & Co, has also been directly involved in the start-up of other private businesses in Calgary, including FirstEnergy Capital Corp. Ms. Denhamer obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary in 1984 and completed her CICA In-Depth Tax Courses in 1989 while at KPMG. She is also the sole author of Taxation in Canada, published and annually updated by CCH Canada. In 2002, she received a Distinguished Service Award for her contribution to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) as Chair of the Competency Map Committee. Janet was also a member of University of Calgary Management Associates, and held a board or advisory position with Strathcona Tweedsmuir School, No Ka Oi (Ranch) Foundation, and the Integrative Medicine Institute in Calgary.
